Goa Government on Saturday announced extension of state wide curfew till June 7, 2021, to contain Covid 19 pandemic.
In a tweet, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said, ‘Government of Goa has decided to extend the curfew till 7 am of 7th June 2021. The orders regarding the same shall be issued by respective District Collectors.’
In view of second wave of Covid 19 pandemic, initially the curfew was imposed on May 9 to May 24, 2021, and later it was extended till May 31, 2021.
Till date there have been 1,53,456 cases of Covid 19 while 2,570 people have lost their life due to the infection.
