For the first time in last two months, the number of Corona positive cases dipped below 1000 while 23 people also lost their lives in last 24 hours in Bihar.
According to a statement by health department, a total of 1,13,446 testings were done in last 24 hours and 991 of them were found positive cases. Altogether 2090 Corona patients also recovered from their illness in the same period.
Positivity rate in Bihar has reduced to 0.8 percent while recovery rate has increased to 97.8 percent. Before the lockdown was imposed on May 5, positivity rate was 15.57 percent on May 4 while recovery rate was den 78.38 percent and number of active cases was 1.13 lakh which has now reduced to 10308. A total of 5,319 people have lost their lives in Bihar due to Corona infection so far.
