Thiruvananthapuram: V Muraleedharan, the NDA candidate for the Attingal Lok Sabha Constituency, officially filed his nomination papers at the Kudappanakunnu collectorate in Thiruvananthapuram today (March 30). His arrival at the collectorate, following visits to prominent temples including Sree Padmanabhaswamy, Pazhavangadi Ganapathy, and Sree Dharma Sashtha, was greeted with enthusiasm by party workers.
Muraleedharan filed his nomination papers at 11 pm. Notably, his election deposit was given by medical students who had returned from the battlefield of Ukraine with the assistance of the central government. Muraleedharan expressed gratitude for this gesture, considering it a significant acknowledgment of his public service.
During a ceremony at the BJP state office held yesterday, students, along with their parents, including Sai Sruthy and Sourav representing the student body, presented the deposit amount to Muraleedharan. They expressed profound gratitude to the Prime Minister and Muraleedharan for facilitating their safe return from the conflict sites in Ukraine, referring it as a second birth for them. In a gesture of appreciation and support, they contributed to Muraleedharan’s election deposit ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
