Thiruvananthapuram: Vaccine dry run in four districts of Kerala tomorrow. The dry run will be conducted in Thiruvananthapuram, Wayanad, Idukki and Palakkad districts. Yesterday, the central government had directed all states to conduct dry runs. The dry run aims to perform the first and final test of the vaccination process.
The second phase of dry run is all set to take place at three sites in Thiruvananthapuram and one site in other districts, has been selected for dry run for vaccine administration in the country.
In the phase, the dry run was conducted in selected places in Punjab, Assam, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.
The dry run is being conducted in collaboration with the World Health Organization and the UNDP. Dry runs are being conducted in the states to check for deficiencies in the guidelines issued for vaccination.
