Thiruvananthapuram: State likely to receive widespread heavy rainfall and IMD issued yellow alert in all 14 districts. The Meteorological department informed the reason for the rainfall is the influence of low pressure trough in Arabian Sea and the low pressure above the Odisha coast.
In the coming days the rainfall will intensify in the southern districts. Yellow alert has been issued in 12 districts tomorrow including Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Idukki, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod.
