Aluva: The murdered five-year-old girl’s father suspects that there are additional individuals involved in the case. He firmly believes that the accused should face the death penalty, and he and his family are hopeful to witness justice served in this manner. He said that, his daughter is now, also the daughter of Kerala and he added that Kerala will be happy only if the accused gets death sentence.
He expresses that he holds no grievances against anyone. He has made it clear that he will not return to his hometown until he ensures the perpetrators face appropriate punishment. Moreover, he has complete faith in the government’s efforts to bring justice to the case.
Meanwhile, the excise team is currently conducting an inspection around the child’s residence. The team consists of officials from different stations within the district, and they are on-site to detect any signs of drug use in the area. Similar inspections were carried out at various locations in Ernakulam district the other day.
In a heart-wrenching incident, a 5-year-old girl, the daughter of a migrant worker from Bihar, was kidnapped and savagely murdered by another migrant worker, Asfaq Alam. Tragically, her lifeless body was discovered in a muddy area along the banks of the Periyar River. Asfaq Alam, who committed this heinous act while intoxicated, has confessed to the crime and is currently in police custody.
