New Delhi: The Minister of State, V Muraleedharan, has condemned the police action against Nair Service Society (NSS) peaceful protest against Speaker, AN Shamseer’s, anti-Hindu remarks. The Minister said that the communist government in Kerala is completely violating the rights of the majority community.
V Muraleedharan also demanded that the Congress must say if they will cooperate with the Speaker, AN Shamseer, in the Legislative Assembly amidst the controversy of his anti-Hindu remarks.
V Muraleedharan reminded that the Kerala Police had thought over a thousand times before registering a case against Popular Front (PFI) activists when they raised death slogans during a march. However, the Pinarayi Vijayan’s government had no second thought to register case against peaceful protests who were chanting the God’s name.
The opportunistic intellectuals and secularists are keeping silent when the Hindu community is being challenged. These intellectuals are turning a blind eye when the followers of NSS founder, Mannathu Padmanabhan, are being ridiculed by CPI(M) leaders.
He also reminded that the Marxist government of Kerala has still not withdrawn cases against thousands of women for protesting peacefully in the Sabarimala issue.
V Muraleedharan also accused the government for giving protection to Green Valley, which was being operated as a weapons’ center of the PFI for the last two decades.
The Kerala Police has taken a case against thousands of people for taking out a peaceful march, which was organized by the NSS at Thiruvananthapuram, last evening. They were protesting against the anti-Hindu remarks of Speaker, AN Shamseer. The protest march was peaceful and the protesters chanted God’s mantras during the march. The police however took case against the NSS Vice President and more than thousand other people for disrupting traffic. The area usually witness protests and marches by political parties. The police seldom registers case against those protesters or the leaders of the political parties for disrupting traffic. Devotees allege that the case was registered by the police in a bid to suppress the protest by Hindu community against Speaker AN Shamseer.
