New Delhi: The Minister of State (MoS), V Muraleedharan, has demanded an independent probe into the case in which Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter Veena Vijayan is involved. It is found that Veena Vijayan’s company Exalogic Solutions received crores of rupees as monthly payment from Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL) without rendering any service.
Veena Vijayan’s company Exalogic Solutions received monthly payment to the tune of Rs.1.72 crores from the private company CMRL. The Minister said that it must be investigated if her company received kickbacks like this from any other company or individuals.
Muraleedharan said that when her company is receiving this much amount of money from a single company, it is only natural that the people will want to know if other companies or individuals are providing such kind of monthly payment to Veena Vijayan’s company.
He said that these things are coming out only during the raids of Income Tax Department. When Pinarayi Vijayan is the Chief Minister and handling the Vigilance Department, demanding an investigation is futile. The Minister said that an independent investigation is needed and asked if the Chief Minister is ready for that.
V Muraleedharan reminded that the Chief Minister used to say that only those who have done wrong need to be afraid. If the CM has not committed any wrong doing then let the CM announce an investigation into this. An investigation is needed to bring out the names of the companies that might have given payments to Veena Vijayan’s Exalogic Solutions. There are several investigating agencies in the country and the investigation must be entrusted to them.
