BJP leader, MT Ramesh, responds to CPI(M)’s accusation that BJP and Congress have an understanding in the Puthupally by-election: It is an attempt to put the blame on BJP for CPI(M)’s failure

Puthupally: BJP State General Secretary, MT Ramesh, has reacted sharply to the CPI(M)’s propaganda that the BJP and Congress have an understanding in the just concluded Puthupally bye election. Ramesh said that the accusation is CPI(M)’s attempt to put the blame of its failure on BJP’s head.

MT Ramesh said that the Congress-led UDF and CPI(M)-led LDF are having a friendly match between themselves in the Puthupally by polls. He also asked on what basis is the CPI(M) raising such an allegation.

The BJP leader also asked to check if votes from the CPI(M) have gone to UDF. The reality will come out when the votes are counted tomorrow.

MT Ramesh remarked that BJP has great expectations in the by poll and was in the fray to win the election. The party has been able to expose both the ruling and opposition fronts in the state.

He added that the votes received by the BJP are the true political votes.

Interestingly, both Congress and CPI(M) are in the I.N.D.I.A camp and have been working together for opposition unity to face the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in 2024.
