Thiruvananthapuram: The nationalist student organization, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), made huge gains in the school Parliament elections held in various schools across the state.
In Thiruvananthapuram district, the ABVP secured a win at that Maranalloor school. In Kozhikode district, the ABVP won 16 out of 28 seats at Koyilandi Poyinkavu School. The student organization grabbed the post of Vice Chairman.
In Palakkad district, the ABVP secured the Chairman post at the Chitilencherry MNKM Higher Secondary School. The student organization won 10 seats out of 22 seats at Rajas school in Kollangode.
The ABVP also won several seats in Nallepulli Srikrishna, Kanchikode, Paralli, Kannadi, Anchalamoodu, Cheruvencherry, Cheeratu, Koothuparambu Thokkilangadi Higher Secondary, Chittariparambu Higher Secondary, Vengadu Higher Secondary, Mambaram Higher Secondary, Irritty Higher Secondary School, Palayad Higher Secondary, Thalassery Cheerakara Higher Secondary, Kannur Rajas, Pallikunnu, etc.
The student organization also won three major seats at Irinjalakuda HDP Edathiri in Thrissur district.
In Kannur, it won the post of Chairman and Vice Chairman at Pannur KKV Higher Secondary School. ABVP also won 12 seats at Pannur PHSS and 3 seats at Pannur Kolluvallur school. It won nine seats at Chokilli Ramavilasom school.
In Kollam district, ABVP won the Chairman post at Madathil School and also at the Sadanandapuram School. It won 5 seats at the Punalur Boys School.
In Pathanamthitta, the nationalist student organization won 19 seats at Kallangoor Government Higher Secondary School. It also won 7 seats at the Mangodu Higher Secondary School.
