Thiruvananthapuram:  BJP Kerala State President K. Surendran highlighted the increasing number of people joining BJP, attributing it to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development initiatives. Surendran stated that many individuals have severed ties with other political parties to align themselves with the BJP, both in Kerala and across the country. He said that the Congress party will fall down completely by 2024 Lok Sabha election. He said that those who criticised Padmaja’s entry into the BJP will also join the BJP tomorrow.

Surendran emphasised the growing support for the BJP and Modi in Kerala, anticipating that this backing would be reflected in the coming Lok Sabha elections. He asserted that only the BJP and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) can address the issues of violence perpetrated by the CPI (M).

Responding to K. Muraleedharan’s comments on Padmaja’s BJP entry, K Surendran said that he is the person who cheated K Karunakaran and joined the CPI (M).  Surendran said none of Muraleedharan’s arguments are credible, and he will face setbacks in Vadakara as well. Surendran stated that the BJP is not a party like the CPI (M) and Congress and assured that all individuals joining the BJP would be given due consideration.

Surendran also said that the CPI (M) is protecting the accused in the Abhimanyu murder case. He demanded answers from the Chief Minister and CPI (M) regarding missing case documents related to Abhimanyu’s case and security lapses on the court premises. He said that CPI (M) became the face of the terrorist organisation PFI, which was banned in Bharat. The Chief Minister and the CPI(M) should answer how the religious terrorists were able to enter and leave the courtrooms and the prosecution office. This has been happening since the day Abhimanyu was killed.
