US President Elect Joe Biden on Tuesday received the first course of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at ChristianaCare Hospital. Biden, who received the vaccine live on Television, told the Americans “there’s nothing to worry about”.
“Today, I received the COVID-19 vaccine.
To the scientists and researchers who worked tirelessly to make this possible — thank you. We owe you an awful lot.
And to the American people — know there is nothing to worry about. When the vaccine is available, I urge you to take it”, tweeted Biden after the vaccine shot.
“This is what leadership looks like”, said Kamala Harris in a tweet as a response to Biden’s act. She will receive her shot of the vaccine publicly next week.
